About

This DVD featured five filmed situations (or conversations) in which faculty were called on to respond—to do or say something in their classrooms. These incidents related to racism, classism, anti-Arab sentiments, disability, gender and other forms of prejudice or oppression. The vignettes did not end with a description of what should have happened, but, rather, provided a strong stimulus for a subsequent discussion of what could happen, as well as potential risks, unrealized possibilities and lingering concerns.
