Description/Abstract
Hydrocarbon exploration in a sedimentary basin entails risks with the uncertainty of what lies below the surface and the fluid content of pores in the rocks Seismic interpretation is one of the tools that allows geoscientists to determine the geometry and structure of geological formations and thus define the best prospect locations, as well as mitigate risks.
