Abstract
This thesis paper titled “Exactly What You Run From, You End Up Chasing” summarizes and describes the photographical body of work I accomplished through the last three years of my life and academic journey I am now concluding at Syracuse University. It visually expresses my life as a brown queer young man, intersecting with my relationship with my own father, and my chosen family that consists of my husband, friends and lovers.
