The Social Science Departments offer undergraduate majors the opportunity to graduate with Distinction. These programs require the student to produce a senior thesis that reflects a deep engagement with the research methods and literature in their chosen field. Students work closely with a faculty advisor to develop their topic, and write a substantial and significant essay based on their original research.
