Description/Abstract
This lecture examines editorial practice in architecture through the notion of the series as a methodological and critical framework. Drawing on projects such as PRIMA, PLANS, CASA, LIMA, and Vernacular Form, the presentation positions the architectural book as a research project in itself, rather than as a mere medium of representation. Across different series, books are approached as autonomous projects, structured by specific conceptual frameworks and guided by sustained attention to process, iteration, and material decision-making. The lecture analyzes how editorial series operate as tools to investigate architectural processes, modes of representation, and conditions of the found, while simultaneously articulating a critical position toward the publication of architectural material.
