Description/Abstract
Introduction: Frequent cannabis use is rising among U.S. adults, particularly among those experiencing psychological distress. While Veterans generally report lower cannabis use than civilians, they face higher risks of mental health disorders, with approximately 17 Veterans dying by suicide daily. Understanding the relationship between cannabis use and psychological distress, particularly among Veterans with and without suicidal ideation, is crucial.
