Description/Abstract
This presentation explores Syracuse University Libraries' efforts to enhance graduate student engagement through dynamic programming. Faced with challenges such as limited librarian resources, inconsistent funding, and diverse student needs, the Subject Instruction Team developed the Graduate Research Roundtable Series in collaboration with the Graduate Student Organization (GSO). By leveraging surveys, targeted outreach, and diverse workshop offerings, the initiative successfully provided professional development and research support to graduate students across disciplines. Assessment data highlighted the program's impact, demonstrating increased student awareness of library services and a demand for expanded accessibility and diversity in programming. The presentation shares strategies for sustainable library outreach, assessment-informed programming, and fostering long-term student-library connections.
