Description/Abstract
Presented as a gallery talk for the opening reception of the Guild of Book Workers' exhibition Wild/Life, this talk reintroduces this unique material to binders. Starting point are the two fish parchment bindings in the exhibition that lead into brief discourses about the history of the material in binding, the authors explorations and experiments, testing, the 2021 Bind-O-Rama that challenged to experiment with making and using the material, and concludes with links to resources.
