Description/Abstract
Founded by book lovers for the welfare and future of the Syracuse University Library, the Syracuse University Library Associates was organized in 1953 under Chancellor William Pearson Tolley. Over the years they strove to acquire rare book collections, expands the facilities of the library, and serve the needs of students.
