Description/Abstract
This article examines how disability is incorporated into corporate supplier diversity programs. While many companies include women- and minority-owned businesses, disability-owned businesses are often overlooked. The authors highlight barriers such as limited awareness, certification challenges, and unequal access to procurement networks. The article calls for stronger standards, data collection, and inclusive procurement strategies in order to expand economic opportunities for disability-owned enterprises.
