Chronos Submission Guidelines
If you have a historical research paper that received a grade of A- (90%) or better and you want to transform it into an article to be published in an academic journal, consider submitting it to Chronos by contacting us at maxchronos@syr.edu. We hope to receive submissions that are based on original historical research and are accessible to a general audience. We especially invite papers written for HST 301, HST 401, and distinction theses. You do not have to be a history major or minor to submit a paper.
Please ensure your submission is:
●No more than 20 pages (10-15 pages is ideal). Book reviews will also be considered.
●Submitted as a Word file (.docx).
●Organized in Chicago style.
●Contains proper citations, including for any images.
●Contain no copyrighted images.
●Proofread for grammatical errors.
Examples of previously published articles are available on the CHRONOS website.
We look forward to reading your submissions!
