Description/Abstract

This thesis is an exploration of the process of trans­formation in traditional cities. Through an analysis of existing conditions in the city, urban typologies structures may be revealed which can act as the basis for new interventions. Fundamental to this thesis will be the preservation and maintenance of the memories of a place while simultaneously transforming it with a coherent urban structure.
