Description/Abstract
Walter Hood is a professor in the UC Berkeley Landscape Architecture and Environmental Design Department. His studio, Hood Design, has been engaged in architectural commissions, urban design, art installations, and research since 1992. Walter has spread his unique approach to the design of public art and urban landscapes across the United States; from the Powell Street Promenade in San Francisco, CA, to the Greenprint urban landscape vision for the Hill District in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
