Description/Abstract
Architecture Spring 2013 Lecture Series - March 28, 2013 at Slocum Hall. Axel Timm is part of Raumlabor, a group of Berlin architects who came together in 1999 in response to the rapid and unrestrained development of the city following the fall of the Berlin Wall. Architectural production takes on a playful approach; temporary projects transform urban landscape through 'urban prototypes.' Working in between the fields of architecture and public art, Raumlabor, a.k.a. 'space laboratory', creates projects based around events, performance and theatre.
