Abstract
If any good can be born out of tragedy, the relationship between Syracuse University and Lockerbie, Scotland after the terrorist bombing of Pan Am flight 103 united these two places like never before. A positive legacy of hope is illustrated by the Lockerbie Scholarship and Remembrance Scholarship which cement these bonds.
