Abstract
What, how and why should we teach our students about generative AI? This article reviews news coverage, reports, and announcements by schools, universities and companies to assemble a national snapshot, in 2025, of how K-12 schools and higher ed institutions already are developing AI instruction; the involvement of AI companies in educational partnerships and related considerations; and what employers, and workers, expect in terms of job trends and readiness.
