Abstract
This reimagining of Harriett’s Bookshop, a Black woman-owned bookstore in Philadelphia, renders the space as an interactive virtual reality environment entitled “Harriett’s Microverse” to highlight works by Black artists in Philadelphia. Here, I share my speculative cultural heritage preservation praxis through a discussion of three key questions to consider when developing digital projects. I also share recommendations and resources for cultural heritage professionals interested in replicating this type of project.
