The Me Nobody Knows
Abstract
"The Me Nobody Knows" is a result of an assignment from my writing instructor to compile our semester's works into a theme. I chose the search for self-identity, because I felt that the curriculum of Writing 105 was geared towards encouraging the students to see themselves through the process of reading and writing. I found that writing, in many ways, is no more than an expression of the soul; it offers an opportunity to lose all inhibitions and express oneself. My writing has become almost therapeutic, easing my tensions and allowing me to sort out my emotions on paper. Through my writing I introduce people to a person inexplicable through just spoken words, a person who comes alive through words on a page.
