Choi and Meier are co-partners of Common Name, a New York-based graphic design studio, focusing on print, interactive, identity, and exhibition work for the arts and cultural sector. Previously, Choi was an art director at New York design studio 2x4, and Meier was with international design consultancy IDEO and Project Projects. He teaches a thesis seminar at Parsons and co-teaches a typography course at Columbia GSAPP.
