Identity
Abstract
Identity is the essence of a person which makes him stand out as an individual. There are various factors which help form and evolve a person's persona, and that is what I spoke of in my essay. Although the subject of this written piece was compulsory, it was very enjoyable to write because, in my Writing 105 class, we were given the freedom to direct our papers in whatever way we felt they should go. I personally felt that writing this essay was quite therapeutic because it allowed me to explain what the Philippine society is like--a society I grew up in, loved, but found unsettling faults in at the same time.
