The Order of Things and the Embrace of Permanence
Abstract
Marilyn Robinson's novel Housekeeping presents the reader with a number of existential questions such as order, change, and permanence. I finally sat down to see throught the blue that bllinded me, and wondered if it was just my contect lenses. Preflecting upon the past and real past, I started to wonder about the future, my future. At the time, this writing experience became my explanation, my guideline, my search and myself. After four years of an undergraduate intensive lesson, I realized that this is only the beginning, and the past is a real mystery.
