Description/Abstract

Russian political technology is well known by using propaganda as its regular component in building international relations and conflict incitement. However, after the outbreak of war in Ukraine, the government faced the fact that methods built over decades had to be changed to fit the new realities. Russia is attempting to wage information warfare against the West, through developing a false narrative in its neighboring countries. In this study, we examine the main objectives, tools and consequences of Russian propaganda in Central Asian countries.
