Description/Abstract

In January 2025, the U.S. added 143,000 jobs, lowering the unemployment rate to 4.0%. However, veteran unemployment rose significantly, with notable increases among younger veterans and those aged 65 and older. Unemployment rates also varied across different veteran demographic groups, with some seeing increases and others decreases.
