A Bigger Mess
Abstract
"A Bigger Mess" is an attempt to turn the study of rhetoric into something more interesting and accessible for those of us, like me, whose heads are mostly confused and whose brains generally turn to soup when trying to make sense of this complicated and slippery topic. As an English major whose primary interest is creative writing, I wanted to do something original with rhetoric. How to do this baffled me from the start of Professor Jim Comas' Rhetorical Theory class. Sometimes the only the things you really love can help you stop the swirling in your head. Ergo, I tried to use creative writing to bring some semblance of order to my mess of knowledge; obviously, all I created was a bigger mess.
