Music concerts and performances have been a part of Syracuse University since 1877, when the Department of Music was founded. Now known as the Rose, Jules R., and Stanford S. Setnor School of Music, the school continues this tradition and offers concerts, recitals, and lectures by students, faculty, ensembles, and guest artists throughout the school year. Programs of these performances document the creative and performance scholarly record of the artists and scholars of our music community.
