Construction of the Carnegie Library. In the background from left (west) to right (east) are: Steele Hall, with spire of Crouse College behind it; east end of the Tolley Building (behind the Journalism Building); Journalism Building (center); Hall of Languages; Winchell Hall, Dormitory for Women, which was at the northeast corner of University Avenue and University Place.
