Description/Abstract
The vestibule is constructed of Tennessee marble and ornamented with marble columns and pilasters of Doric style extending to the cornice. The vestibule, which is twenty-two feet deep and sixty feet long, is wainscoted with Tennessee marble and scagliola work in marble. The ceiling is paneled by heavy Doric cornices.
