Adults with intellectual disabilities critique and, using Photoshop and/or by taking new photographs, transform existing public photographic images of people so labeled. Engaging non-disabled audiences in conversations about the work in a series of exhibits they curated, they disrupt popular culture (dys) representations and dominant definitions and understandings of disabled experience.
