Description

Social satirical cartoons such as Family Guy have rarely avoided controversial or taboo social topics such as disability. The cartoon, Family Guy, has often addressed disability and perceptions of disability in direct ways through reoccurring characters and episodic focus. Do they get a “free pass” from societal criticism because they are cartoons?
