Cinematic representations of people with intellectual disabilities are critiqued by adults with intellectual disabilities. Speaking to the stories they read about intellectual disability in these films and to times the films got it ‘right’ or ‘wrong,’ they reveal their own concerns as to the effects of such on their lives.
